Ayodhya, Jul 26 (UNI) Ayodhya saints today warned the country to be ready to face fatal consequences for the alleged negligence been done to Ramlala, who is open to rain water as the shed covering the deity is damaged.

Sri Ram Janambhoomi Nyas president Mahant Gopaldas today said rain water is seeping through the shed and wetting the deity.

If the needful not done to save the Ramlala, it could be dangerous for both, the government and the country, he said while demanding immediate removal of the breached and damaged shed.

Without naming the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said people had gathered crores in the name of Ram mandir and living a luxurious life in big bungalows.

After attaining wealth they had forgotten to construct a mandir for Sri Ram, he added.

Nyas senior member and former MP Dr Ram Vilas Das Vedanti said ''it is unfortunate for the Hindu's that they are living in big residences and their God is bathing in rain.'' He further warned that the country could face harsh consequences if the shed was not replaced at the earliest.

Head priest Acharya Satendra Das also focussed upon the same yesterday and demaded the necessary action.

Ridiculing administration's tall claims of proper arrangements at the Ramlala premises, the head priest had said the security guard at the premises had already apprised about the same to the administration, but nothing was done so far.

However, official sources said they were not allowed to do any changes at the site without court's consent.

Earlier, court had pronounced this decision hearing a petition of Sunni Central Waqaf Board.
