One killed, 8 injured in road accident near Kannur
Kannur, Jul 26: one person was killed and eight others were injured, two of them seriously, when a three-wheeler collided with a private bus at Valapattanam near here on Saturday, July 26 morning.
Police identified the deceased as Swaraj, a nine-year-old student of the Sivapuram School, Maloor. The injured Swathi(32) and Ragini(32), Auto driver Sijesh (22), Vasantha (32), Navaneeth (9), Nivedha (10), Sayooj (15) and Sradha (2) were admitted to a private hospital.
