Noted Malayalam playback singer Santha P Nair passes away
Chennai, July 26 (UNI) Popular Malayalam playback singer of yesteryears Santha P Nair died here today after a brief illness.
She was 79. She is survived by daughter Latha Raj.
Santha was unwell for the last two months. The end came at her residence this evening.
The last rites would be performed tomorrow.
Santha had sung over 200 songs in 100 films from 1950s to 1967.
Among her famous films was 'Thiramala.' UNI GV SJ LPB RAI1908
