Kidwai pays tribute to BN Chakravarty
Kurukshetra, July 26 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai today paid floral tributes at the Samadhi of Haryana's first Governor BN Chakravarty in the Kurukshetra University.
Union Law Minister Hans Raj Bhardwaj and the family members of Mr Chakravarty also paid tributes to the former Governor.
Mr Chakravarty remained the Governor of Haryana for nine years and also served in British High Commission.
Others who paid tributes included Secretary to the Governor, Mr Alok Nigam, Kurukshetra University Vice Chancellor R P Vajpayee and senior officers of the district.
