Khanduri pays homage to Kargil martyrs

Dehra Dun, Jul 26 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri today joined the nation in paying homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war and said the country must never forget their sacrifice.

To commemorate the victory of Kargil on the occasion of Kargil Diwas at Gandhi Park here, Mr Khanduri said the war was a defining moment in the country's history and for the Indian Armed Forces, who conducted it without violating any international norms.

He said India must never forget ''our Indian soldiers who gave their today for our tomorrow''.
