HP to expand activities of HPMC

Shimla, Jul 26 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government is planning to expand the activities of the Horticulture Produce Marketing Corporation (HPMC) so that its products could be marketed at international level.

This was stated by Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Minister Narender Bragta, who visited the HPMC complex at Parwanoo in Solan today.

The Minister directed the officers of the corporation to improve the marketing strategy of HPMC products by adopting best publicity campaign.

''The state government is preparing a policy to provide international market for HPMC products and there would be no financial constraint for expansion activities of the corporation,'' Mr Bragta said.
