New Delhi, Jul 25 (UNI) Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, part of the O P Jindal Group, today said its net profit has increased 60.84 per cent to Rs 402.30 crore for the first quarter ended June 2008 as compared to Rs 250.11 crore during the same period a year ago.
The company's total income for Q1 FY09 went up 54.35 per cent to Rs 1,902.74 crore from Rs 1,232.73 crore for Q1 FY08.
