No change in government stand on Ram Setu: Congress
New Delhi, Jul 24 (UNI) The Congress today said there was no change in the stand of the government vis-a-vis the Ram Setu at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu where the multi-crore Sethusamudram project is being built.

that
the
stand
of
the
government
was
included
in
the
counter-affidavit
filed
before
the
Supreme
Court.
When
his
attention
was
drawn
to
the
reports
about
the
government
counsel
arguing
in
the
apex
court
that
Lord
Ram
himself
had
demolished
the
Ram
Setu,
the
Spokesman
said,
"He
has
to
make
argument
within
the
broad
parameters
of
the
counter-affidavit."
"You
cannot
take
one
statement
during
the
course
of
the
argument
in
isolation
and
spin
it
out
of
context,"
Mr
Tewari
said,
adding
that
"the
government
counsel
had
been
arguing
the
case
for
five
days
and
it
should
be
taken
in
its
totality."
