Congress finalises plan to gear up party apparatus in states

New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) With just ten months left for the General Elections, the Congress has chalked out a massive plan to strengthen its organisational set-up across the country to effectively explain to the people the nuclear deal and the achievement of the government.

AICC General Secretary in charge of Media Veerappa Moily told mediapersons that Zonal Workshops would be held in Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chandigarh in the next two months.

Party Spokespersons in the States and Districts from the respective zone would attend the workshop.

The first such workshop would be held in Hyderabad during August 16-17.

He said a week-long workshop would begin here on August six for state Spokespersons.

Mr Moily said a two-day-long special workshop would be organised for district spokespersons of the election going states.
