Badal announces ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh for victims' kin

Chandigarh, Jul 24 (UNI) Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today announced an ex-gratia of Rs one lakh each for the next of kin of those killed in the mini bus accident at Naushera Pannuan in Tarn Taran district today.

The Chief Minister also announced Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 each for the accident victims with serious and minor injuries respectively.

Mr Badal asked the Deputy Commissioner Taran Taran to ensure free treatment to the injured and transportation of the bodies to their destination.

He expressed his sorrow and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.
