Postal Department to sell rakhi envelopes
New Delhi, Jul 23 (UNI) The Department of Posts in collaboration with DuPont is selling special rakhi envelopes in all important Post Offices in Delhi.
The sale of rakhi envelopes is an India Post innovation to give a happy opportunity to every sister to express her love in a very special way on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The festival is on 16th of next month.
These special envelopes are made of wholly tear proof and water proof material and are available in size 11cms x 22cms. They are light enough to keep the rakhi mail within the basic weight limit as far as possible. These envelopes are available in seven attractive designs pre-gummed with a peel-off strip seal mechanism for easy sealing.
Rakhi envelopes are available for sale in the Head Post Offices and Sub Post Offices all over NCT of Delhi at a uniform price of Rs 5 each.
The envelopes are part of the ongoing efforts of India Posts to respond sensitively to consumer needs, the Department said.
