Monsoon session of Bihar legislature begins tomorrow

Patna, Jul 23 (UNI) A brief Monsoon Session of the Bihar Legislature will begin here tomorrow.

Official sources said during the week-long session, to continue till July 30, a number of important Bills and issues would be discussed.

Among the important business in the agenda, is the first supplementary budget for the fiscal 2008-09 to be placed in the Assembly on July 28.

Five sittings each of the State Assembly and Legislative Council would be held during the Session, sources added.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ramashray Prasad Singh said the state government was expecting support from all the Opposition parties in redressal of the issues of public importance.
