IIT-Delhi professor appointed new VC of Garhwal University

Dehra Dun, Jul 23 (UNI) IIT-Delhi Professor H K Sehgal has been appointed the new Vice-Chancellor of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand.

Mr Seghal, presently with the Physics Department of IIT-Delhi, would take over from Prof S K Singh, Governor B L Joshi said in a statement here yesterday.

His tenure would be for a period of three years, the statement further added.
