37-year-old uncle arrested for raping teenager niece

New Delhi, Jul 23 (UNI) Police today arrested the uncle of a 13-year-old from Mayur Vihar area in east Delhi after he was caught raping the girl.

Abdul Gaffoor 37, who lives in Chilla Gaon, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, was caught red-handed by the girl's father last night, following which a complaint was made, according to the police.

''The accused, a rickshaw puller who lives close to the house of the girl, had been raping the girl for the last one month.'' The arrest was made after a medical test confirmed the rape.

The girl's father works in a printing press.
