Rupee opens low at 42.70/72 per USD

Mumbai, Jul 22: Spot Rupee today resumed low by two paise at 42.70/72 against US Dollar from its previous close of 42.68/70 on heavy selling pressure of Dollar by foreign banks and exporters. Later, it fluctuated in a wide range between 42.68 and 42.85 during the mid-session, a leading trader said. Rupee weakened on Tuesday as traders squared positions ahead of a confidence vote in parliament that would decide the fate of the government.
