Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.71 per Dollar

Mumbai, Jul 22 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.71 per unit, steady against its yesterday's rate of Rs 42.71 per dollar.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted 29 paise up at Rs 68.02 per unit against yesterday's rate of Rs 67.73.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 85.5161 (85.1189) per Pound and Rs 40.09 (40.01) per 100 units respectively, a data received from RBI said.
