Magisterial checking claims student's life
Lucknow, Jul 22 (UNI) A student was crushed to death after coming under the wheels of a train during a magisterial checking of passangers, who were traveling without ticket near Daud Khan railway station at Aligarh.
Panic gripped the non-ticket travellers during the checking drive in Hathras-Delhi passanger train, who in a bid to save self rushed hurridly towards exit, police said.
In confusion, a student Premchand came under the wheels of the train and succumbed on the spot.
Later, people attempted to block the route, however, their bid was foiled as officials quickly swung in action and dispersed the mob.
A case has been registered and investigation was underway.
