Funds sanctioned for patwari offices

Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, Jul 22 (UNI) A sum of Rs 33.66 lakh has been sanctioned for construction of patwari office-cum-residences at 22 villages of this district, official sources said here today.

Three buildings would come up in Rajnandgaon block, six in Manpur, six in Mohla, four in Chowki and three in Chuikhadan block.

After the offices begin functioning, villagers would have the facility of getting revenue-related work -- such as transfer and division of property -- done at local level.
