10 bar girls, 3 others held in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Jul 22: Social Service Branch (SSB) of city police conducted raid in a bar and arrested 13 people for allegedly indulging in obscenity to lure customers.

Acting on tip-off, the SSB sleuth raided in Sadanand Bar and Restaurant at N M Joshi Marg of Lower Parel at around 0330 hrs. Tthe bar cashier and two managers along with 10 bar girls were arrested, police said.

The accused were booked under section 110, 33(w) of Mumbai police act and PITA (Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act). They will be produced before metropolitan magistrate here later today the police added.
