2 killed, 3 injured in house collapse, road accident in Kashmir

Srinagar Jul 21 (UNI) Two people, including a labourer, were killed and three injured in a house collapse and road accident in the Kashmir valley overnight, official source said today.

They said a motorcyclist hit and injured a pedestrian Dilawar Ahmad Mir at Kupwara. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he died. The motorcyclist was also injured and hospitalised.

A house under construction collapsed at Gadool in Anantnag, resulting in on-the-spot death of a labourer Habib-Ullah and injuries to house owner and his wife. Both the injured were hospitalized.

Due to leakage of gas, fire broke out in Middle School at Sheeri Baramulla, due to which single storey of the building was partially damaged.

No one was injured, they said.
