Imphal, Jul 20: The proscribed Kangleipak Communisty Party (KCP) has claimed that a large number of migrant workers in Manipur were working as agents of the military and therefore the attacks on them ''should not be construed as attacks on non-Manipuris.'' The injured person is recovering at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) here.
Meanwhile, the PRO of Assam Rifles (AR) said troops of 21 AR of the Ninth Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched operations and apprehended one United National Liberation Front (UNLF) cadre. He was handed over to police yesterday, the PRO added.
