Azad expresses concern over Banihal blast
Srinagar, Jul 19 (UNI) Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed concern and grief over the injuries to several persons including school children in a grenade attack at Banihal.
In a statement here today, Mr Azad expressed sympathy with the people who were injured in yesterday's attack, and prayed for their speedy recovery.
The former Chief Minister asked the people to maintain communal harmony, unity and brotherhood, which all along have been the hallmarks of the rich traditions of the state.
He said 'this' will send a firm signal to the anti-people elements to desist from fomenting trouble and causing hardships to the people, who have suffered much agony and pain during the last two decades of turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir.
