Two dead three hurt in accident at Kiratpur Sahib

Rupnagar, Jul 18 (UNI) Two persons were killed while three others sustained injuries following a collision between a private bus and a jeep near Kiratpur Sahib on Rupnagar-Anandpur Sahib road this evening, police here said.

According to the police, the two deceased were travelling in the jeep. Amongs the injured were two bus passengers and a bystander.

The bus was on its way to Nangal while the jeep was moving towards Rupnagar.

The dead have been identified as Bhagat Singh of Kalyanpur and Joginder Singh of Jiowal while the injured were identified as Ved Parkash of Nangal, Jagmanpreet Kaur of Fatehgrah Sahib district and Raj Singh of Anandpur Sahib.
