TMMK activists stage demonstration against Indo-US Nuclear Pact

Madurai, July 18 (UNI) Protesting against the Indo-US nuclear deal, over 150 cadres of the Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) staged a slogan shouting demonstration at Scott Road in the city, this evening.

Led by the party's district president K.Seeni Mohammed, the volunteers shouted anti-US slogans and urged the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre not to sign the deal in the interest of the nation.

Police made tight security arrangements in view of the TMMK protest.
