Humid day in Kolkata, mercury rises to 33.1 deg C

Kolkata, Jul 18 (UNI) The citydwellers today experienced another humid day with the mercury rising to 33.1 degrees Celsius.

The local Met office forecasts generally cloudy sky with the possibility of spells of rain or thundershower during the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degree Celcius.

Met officials recorded 9.2 mm rainfall during last 24 hours.

They also predicted some respite from humid weather as the coming days could witness moderate to heavy rainfall here.

Maximum and minimum temperature would hover around 31 and 26 degree Celcius respectively, they said.
