Escorts Heart Institute receives NABH accreditation

New Delhi, Jul 18 (UNI) Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, Delhi, today became the third hospital under the Fortis umbrella to receive the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers accreditation, the highest national recognition for quality patient care and safety.

Institute Managing Director Shivinder Mohan Singh received the coveted certificate of accreditation from Mr B K Rana, Deputy Director, NABH.

The institute is the 19th in the country to have been certified by NABH.

Institute Executive Director (Cardiac Sciences) Dr T S Kler said, "The Institute has always delivered highest standards of medical care to its patients. Thorugh this accreditation, the patients will immensely benefit from the global quality mechanisms entrusted to ensure harmonization of clinical best practices and procedures for patient care and safety.
