Tough time for broadband users in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 16 (UNI) The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) broadband users in Kashmir valley had a tough time as the service remained down for the past 24 hours.

The broadband users of entire Kashmir valley particularly Srinagar city alleged that the system remained out of order since 1500 hrs yesterday.

The media organisations also complained about poor service of the BSNL broadband, alleging that the system often goes off even after paying full rent and other charges levied by the BSNL department.

The Divisional Engineer (DE) broadband when contacted said there was some fault beyond Jammu.

He said work was on to restore the system.
