Tata Teleservices (maha) revenue up by 23 per cet in q1

Mumbai, July 16 (UNI) Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited today reported a 23 per cent jump in its quarter one turnover at Rs 504.89 crore, with the cash profit notching a six per cent jump at Rs 79.57 crore.

The Company in a relese here said that on June 30, the subscriber base stood at 5.6 million, an increase of 62 per cent over the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company had incurred foreign exchange losses of Rs 20.69 crore, as compared to foreign exchange gain of Rs 15.20 crore during the same period last year.
