SP MLA sent behind bars for misbehaving with woman

Lucknow, July 16 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Dharmendra Kumar Kashyap was today arrested and sent to jail for allegedly misbehaving with a woman in Bareilly (cantt) in Uttar Pradesh.

According to police, on July 12, Saroj Kumari of Kandharpur village had registered a case against the SP MLA.

As per the allegations, Kashyap had barged into the woman's house on the night of July 11 along with his three gunners, of whom two were private.

He also misbehaved with the victim's daughter and threatened them with his gun.

The MLA has been arrested, police added.
