Gurujis' honorarium raised in MP

Bhopal, July 16: The Madhya Pradesh government has raised the honorarium of Gurujis (contract teachers) to Rs 2500 from Rs 1750 per month.

The increase will be effective from April, 2008, official sources said, adding the Gurujis whose services were transferred to municipalities and Panchayatiraj institutions from School and Tribal Welfare departments would also be entitled for the increased honorarium.
