Congress-NCP MPs in touch with us: Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai, Jul 16 (UNI) Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray today claimed that several MPs belonging to Congress and NCP are in touch with him.

He made this statement while replying to a question that several Sena MPs, whose constituencies have been changed in delimitation, are in touch with the Congress.

''There are many Congress-NCP MPs whose constituencies have been changed in delimitation and they are in touch with us,'' he remarked.

Uddhav had called a press conference to announce that Rajaram Salvi, a leader of Agri Sena and former vice president of state BJP, will now work in tandem with the Sena.

Mr Salvi told reporters that he was not against the BJP which had made him chairman of the corporation but, now, he wanted to work with Sena.

Mr Thackeray refused to talk on the nuclear deal and said there are many other important issues including unemployment and inflation on which he and his party is concentrating upon.
