Mumbai, Jul 15 (UNI) Taking note of the comments made by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray about North Indians and the use of Marathi, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil asserted the government will not allow anybody to run a parallel government.
Mr Deshmukh, however, said the demands of changing the nameplates into Marathi, having Marathi subject at school level and providing 80 per cent jobs to the local people had some substance.
The government would review whether the target of 80 per cent jobs for the local people is being implemented properly or not, Mr Deshmukh told reporters here.
