Mercury dips further following heavy downpour in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jul 15 (UNI) A heavy downpour for the past three days brought the mercury level further down to 30.2 degrees Celsius today as against Yesterdays 31.2 degrees Celsius.

Local Met office recorded 41.7 mm rainfall during the past 24 hours.

Forecasting generally cloudy sky, Met officials recorded the day's minimum temperature at 25 degrees Celsius.

Moreover they also predicted the possibility of spells of rain or thundershowers during the next 24 hours with no significant changes in maximum and minimum temperature.
