List of party candidates to be released within few weeks: Jaitely

Vrindavan, Jul 15 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Arun Jaitely today said the list of party candidates from Uttar Pradesh for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election would be released in phases within the next few weeks.

''Of the 80 seats from UP in the Lok Sabha, the BJP would only leave few seats for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies.

No seat would be left for any other party,'' Mr Jaitely said on the the last day of the BJP state executive meet here.

The party would soon start preparing the list of party candidates in phases, Mr Jaitely maintained.

The candidates would be chosen as per their dedication towards the party, image and capabilty to win the election, he informed.
