HM commander among two arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 15 (UNI) A self-styled battalion commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of Albadr outfit were arrested in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a HM commander Ali Lone alias Azad at Kota forest in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

One AK 47 rifle, six AK rounds, one wireless set were recovered from his possession. Police have registered a case in this.

Police also apprehended one OGW of Albader Muzaffar Ahmad Chopan, from Mimander Shopian along with 126 rounds of Pika and one pouch.
