Soldier commits suicide in Jammu army camp

Jammu, July 15 : A soldier allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his rifle in an Army camp in Jammu district on Tuesday.

Official sources said Mustappa H of the 9 Madras Regiment shot himself during guard duty at 103 Engineering Unit in Nagrota belt of Jammu district on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

A court of inquiry has been ordered in the case.
