AP CM launches IGCARL website
Hyderabad, July 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today launched the website of the Indira Gandhi Centre for Advanced Research on Livestock (IGCARL) and reviewed the progress of works.
The website contained all details of the World Class Centre coming up at Pulivendula, according to a release here.
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) was finalising proposals for submission to the Union Government for notification of Livestock Biotech SEZ in an extent of 50 acres initially.
Reviewing the issues of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and AP Dairy Federation, the Chief Minister said that besides filling up 160 Veterinary Assistants post, permission might be accorded to fill up the balance 640 Veterinary Assistant posts.
Regarding the 496 representations received by the present Government for establishing new veterinary institutions, the Chief Minister decided to accord permission to set up new institutions on a need-based systematic manner.
