One drowned, woman injured and electric station gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 14 (UNI) A man drowned and four others were rescued, while one woman was injured and an electric station was gutted, in a fire in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said five people drowned in river Yuzgund, Drass, in Ladakh.
However, four of them were rescued while a fifth died, they added.
A woman was injured when two vehicles collided at Nuner, Ganderbal. She was hospitalised.
Due to a short circuit, a fire broke out in Electric Station Phase-1 at Frestabal Pampore, Awantipora, causing damage to machinery and minor damage to the building. However, no one was injured.
