Madhucon bags Rs 989.5 cr project in Andhra Pradesh
New Delhi, Jul 14 (UNI) Infrastructure development firm Madhucon Projects today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 989.5 crore for setting up of Thermal Power Plant in Krishnapatnam South, Andhra Pradesh.
The project entails setting up a thermal power plant of 2X 135 MW in the first phase of the total envisaged 620 MW being set up by Simhapuri Energy, a company statement said.
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project is to be completed in 26 months, it added.
Madhucon EPC division has total order book position of more than Rs 4,700 crore.
Its energy division has entered into an MoU with Jharkhand government for setting up of 1,000 MW thermal power palnt at a cost of Rs 4,800 crore.
