CADD opens first centre in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Jul 14 (UNI) CADD, the country's well known computer added design education institute, today inaugurated its first centre in city's Sumel Complex, located on Gandhinagar-Sarkhej Highway.

CADD Centre imparts training to engineers about needs of industries and designs courses in a manner that facilitates knowledge and technical skill, said Sameer Rai, Director of CADD here.

Mr Rai said the Centre bridges the gap between theory and practicals with real industrial projects to its students.

''We can boast of an alumni employed in key positions in varied companies in more than 40 countries across the world,'' he said.

The Centre offers courses ranging from various disciplines like electrical, mechanical, civil, architectural, advance 3D modelling, project planning and management, design analysis, web design and publishing, 3D graphics and animation, post production and authoring interior architecture and design, he said.

Some of the courses offered are Pro/E, ANSYS, Auto CAD, LMS Virtual Lab, ArchiCAD, STAAD Pro and others, Mr Rai added.
