BSP, SP, Cong following politics of appeasement: BJP
Vrindavan, Jul 14 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today alleged that the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress were only doing politics of opportunitism, appeasement and taking all steps to hurt the majority Hindu sentiments of the country.
These parties were responsible for the rise of terrorism in the country owing to their faulty policies, Uttar Pradesh BJP president Rampati Ram Tripathi said in his address at the inaugural session of the two-day state executive meeting here.
The party also adopted a resolution, criticising the Jammu and Kashmir government for withdrawing the land allotted to the Sri Amarnath Shrine Board, alleging that the government had bowed to the pressure of the anti-national forces in the Kashmir valley.
''How can the Centre or State Governments ignore the religious sentiment of the people who visit Sri Amarnath,'' the BJP leader questioned.
In his over one hour-long speech, Mr Tripathi, also touched the sensitive Ram Temple issue saying there was the temple at Ayodhya in the past, in present and will be made grand in future.
He also raised the failure of the Central government to curb the price rise of essential commodities and questioned the nuclear deal with the United States.
''Why is the UPA government in so hurry for the Nuke deal.
Earlier, they were doing 'lal salam' but now changed to 'dalal salam','' Mr Tripathi said, while wanting to know the reason behind for the late night deal between the Congress and the Samajwadi Party.
