New Himachal governor likely to take oath on July 19
Shimla, Jul 13 (UNI) The new Himachal Governor Prabha Rau is likely to take oath on July 19, chief minister P.K Dhumal has said.
The present incumbent V S Kokje was out of station and expected to return on July 16 or 17 and as such he would demit office only after that date, he told mediapersons here.
Replying to a question, Mr Dhumal said he was not formally consulted over the appointment of the new governor, but the union Home Minister did call him four times and informed him about the new governor.
