JVM (P) to vote against the Manmohan govt on nuke deal issue
Dumka, Jul 13 (UNI) Jharkhand's former chief minister Babulal Marnadi, who represents the Koderma's Lok Sabha seat, today said he will vote against the Manmohan Singh ministry on nuke deal issue.
Talking to UNI Mr Marnadi, who is also president Jharkhand Vikash Morcha (Prajatantrik), said the Union government was working under US pressure on this issue.
Criticising the Union government on nuke deal, Mr Marnadi said that government should have been more concerned about price rise than the nuke deal.
''The rate of inflation increased to about 11.86 per cent but the government was more worried about atomic deal instead of making alternative arrangements to check inflation'' Mr Marandi said.
''It is all political gimmick to divert people's attention from the recent trend price rise'' he added.
He said that all the parties of United National Progressive Alliance were intatct and vote against the Union government on this issue.
