Small grade sugar declines marginally, ex-mill steady
Mumbai, July 11 (UNI) Small grade sugar prices declined marginally on lack of demand, while medium grade rose slightly due to fresh demand from traders, Bombay sugar merchants association said here today.
However, Ex-mill grade remained unchanged, traders said.
Small grade sugar declined by Rs five per quintal, while medium grade rose by Rs five.
In ex-mill grade, both small and medium grade sugar remained unchanged due to lack of fresh demand and sufficient supply of goods.
Following were the spot wholesale rates of sugar per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,505/1,540, medium grade: Rs 1,535/1,525.
Ex-mill small grade: Rs 1,490/1,525 and medium grade: Rs 1,540/1,585.
