2 killed, 4 badly hurt as vans falls into gorge

Madurai, July 11 (UNI) A man and a woman were killed and four seriously injured when the van in which they were travelling plunged into a gorge at Paraipatti Village, near here, today.

Police sources said the occupants of the van were on their way to Thisayanvilai in Tirunelveli District from Villupuram for fixing a marriage proposal.

The deceased were identified as A Jegannthan (54) and S Stella (45).The injured were admitted to a private hospital, here.
