Farmer ends life after throwing two children into well

Rajkot, Jul 10 (UNI) A farmer committed suicide after throwing his two children into a farm well at Navagam village, near Gondal town, about 40 km from here.

According to police, the deceased Sanjaybhai Kyada (32) initially threw his two children--son Minal (6) and daughter Jinal (10) into his farm well before hanging himself in Gondal Taluka of the district last night.

Later, Sanjaybhai's body was found hanging from the ceiling, police said.

Fire-brigade personnel fished out the bodies of the two children from the well. All the three bodies were sent for post-mortem in Gondal hospital, police sources said.

The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained, police said.
