People's unity can achieve Telangana: Goud

Hyderabad, Jul 9 (UNI) Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader T Devendar Goud today called on people and students to unite and fight for the cause of Telangana in the coming days.

Speaking at a programme organised by the Telangana students union in Osmania University campus here, Mr Goud said people's unity and strength would help to realise the dreams of Telangana people.

Alleging that the TDP constituted a committee to study the Telangana issue without preparing modalilties, he said party president N Chandrababu Naidu was neglecting the Telangana issue even after the constitution of the committee.

Stating that he came out of the TDP for not giving priority to the Telangana issue, Mr Goud said the statehood for Telangana should be achieved in a peaceful manner.
