Don't come to Haj house, watch draw of lots live on DD:Haj committee

Srinagar, Jul 9 (UNI) Asking the people who have applied for Haj-2008 not to come to Haj house, Jammu and Kashmir State Haj Committee (SHC) said the proceedings of draw of lots would be telecast live on Doordarshan tomorrow.

The application received for Haj-2008 was high against the actual seats allotted to the state by the central Haj committee, Executive Officer of the SHC said.

He said it has been decided to select the pilgrims through draw of lots at Baital Hujjaj (Haj house) tomorrow at 1100 hrs to avoid any misunderstanding.

However, since the proceedings of draw of lots are being telecast live on Doordarshan, no applicant would be allowed to come to Haj house, he said.

The applicants are requested kindly to cooperate so that the process of draw of lots is completed in a proper manner, he added.
