MNS activists vandalise cinema hall showing Bhojpuri film
Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) A group of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists late last night vandalised Super Plaza theatre at Grant Road in South Mumbai, where a 'Bhojpuri' film was being screened.
Police said here today MNS activist barged into the office of cinema hall and vandalised furniture and equipment, showing their anguish over the screening of a Bhojpuri film.
This is the first incident after party Chief Raj Thackeray's public meeting on Saturday last at Borivali on the occasion of opening of a party office there.
Mr Thackeray had said, ''We have not stopped our campaign against the North Indians for not respecting local people, they might have been thinking that Mr (Raj) Thackeray has become calm, but that is a wrong perception.'' UNI ST GS RL CS1502
