Madurai-Chennai special to clear extra rush

Chennai, Jul 8 (UNI) Southern Railway today announced a special train from Madurai to Chennai on July 11 to clear extra rush of passengers.

The Madurai-Chennai Egmore special would leave Madurai at 2315 hrs on July 11 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs, the next day.

Advance reservation for the train would commence on July nine, a railway release here said.

The Railways also announced that Mr Subodh Kumar Kulshrestha assumed charge as the new Divisional Railway Manager of the Chennai Division of Southern Railway.
